The representation's we are considering are age, this is because in our music video the couple have broken up and this represents their age because it's showing that most young relationships don'l last and end up not working how they thought they would.
The social groups we are showing are young people and their struggle with their first relationships and how they think they are going to last forever but most of the time it never works out. We wont necessarily be showing them in a negative light, more so a positive because its showing the truth and not giving the target audience a false hope for them to make decisions from.
We are also showing representations of heartbreak and how people deal with them such as not being able to let go and thinking too much about the past which doesn't help most people when trying to move on after a broken relationship.
We are also going to be using a lot of warm colours such as orange and red to represent the fire in which is referred to in the song. We are linking the fire to their relationship because things are heated between the two at the beginning towards the end the fire burns out, which then represents them moving on and no longer having feelings for each other. We also used to fire as a way to burn away the feelings and memories by having visuals of them being thrown into the fire.
We see a representation of younger people here which is showing us that most young relationship do not last and most likely end quite quickly. This is shown through the characters, which are quite young, ranging from around 16-18 years old. This is good to represent this age group because this is what the age group is for the target market.
